The Children's HIV Association (CHIVA) supports the health and wellbeing of children and young people living with HIV.  Working with clinics across the UK and Ireland we provide support to address some of the wider impacts HIV can have on young people’s lives and offer support to families.  CHIVA engages young people in different projects and activities throughout the year.  The aim is to enhance their knowledge and understanding of HIV and provide emotional and social support, while developing their confidence, self-esteem and social and emotional wellbeing.  This year will be our 10th annual support camp for 100 children living with HIV, taking place this summer.  This costs £700 for each child to attend for the week, which includes their travel from all over the UK.
